Cricut Card Class
Friday, August 1, 2008
I have started teaching classes at my LSS. They are a great store and the owners are super nice. They are in Northridge, CA. This month I am teaching 2 classes. The first one is a beginner class where scrappers learn the basics of how to use their Cricut or Expression and the cartridges it came with. The second is gaining a greater understanding of using the Cricut through card making. In this class we will be making two cards.
The first is a "love bug" card. It was inspired by the Cricut MB. I wish I could remember who came up with the original idea to give her proper credit, but I couldn't find who it was. I did change it around a bit to make it my own. The second is an Autumn criss-cross card. I don't see people give or get these cards alot, so I thought it would be fun to teach this technique. The cards are both made primarily with Doodlecharms. The font on the first card is Alphalicious. I also used the Cricut Inks on both cards to spruce them up a bit and to teach people how to use them. I am really looking forward to teaching these classes.
